Of the many entries to the west, none have stood as open for as long as the Browne Doorway of Eyre Square. A present from the past, the frame is the only remains of an early 17th century family home.

Living in plain view and still bearing the “Marriage Stone” of the powerful Brown and Lynch families, the symbolic union stands testament to the character, culture and pride of the west, as generations of stories, music and banter add to the local love affair.
